MARRIED at blue wren farm, MUDGEE

Ellie and Gus have shared over a decade together. In fact, almost 15 years. They met when attending college at the University of NSW. Both with hearts of gold and penchants for adventure, they were instantly drawn to one another. First friends, then partners once Gus plucked up the courage to make the first move, they spent the next decade navigating international travel, a medical degree, a long distance relationship, placements abroad and changes in career, but nothing could rock these two.

Planning a wedding in a pandemic meant that neither of them had set foot in the venue prior to their wedding. This is something that would usually rock a bride and groom, however Ellie and Gus were unfazed. Whilst the details were important to them, what was more important was bringing everyone together. They lovingly selected many of their vendors from their pool of talented friends; the cake was made my Ellie's bridesmaid Alex, the wine supplied by long standing family friends at Vinifera Wines, and all floristry work done by another beautiful friend, Botanica Bird. Having known Ellie and Gus personally since college myself, I was also honoured to be a part of their chosen crew. They kept everything as local as possible and it truly made their day that bit more special.
