black tie with all the trimmings
When Amy contacted me to ask if I would photograph her wedding I was beyond excited. We'd attended school together back in the day and had spent many hours tearing around on horses together and getting rowdy at country races. I couldn't wait to share in her day and meet the man that had stolen her heart, Gus (fondly known as Fat to everyone who knows him well).
Held on Gus's family property west of Walcha, Amy and Gus's wedding was black tie with all the trimmings. Views for days from a beautiful tipi marquee, champagne and espresso martinis to sip, an array of incredible food for the cocktail dinner, glamping tents for guests, and an impressive fireworks display to finish off the night. It was one hell of a party! But the best thing of all was the love that was so clearly evident between Fat and Ames, and the joy that everyone had in watching them finally tie the knot.
